The Beta Xi Chapter recently hosted Delta Zeta Day at the Park on September 16, 2012. Proceeds from the event benefited Beta Xi's local philanthropy the Lee County Humane Society, which provides public education, an adoption program for unwanted animals, rescues of injured and abused animals, the promotion of responsible animal companionship, and the elimination of pet overpopulation.

The event included the annual Turtle Tug and raised over $12,000 dollars. Members also won the sorority league championship in intramural flag football.

Thirty members of the Beta Xi Chapter participated in Auburn University Dance Marathon and raised $1,470 for Children's Miracle Network.
